George Grey Winery

The history of George Grey winemaking begins several decades ago in the historic village of Tsilkani, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Georgia. In this region, wine production has begun approximately 1400 years ago. With the historical traditions and experience inherited from the ancestors, a new concept of wine making has been created, which offers wine-lovers the premium quality Georgian traditional wines.

George Rukhadze

George Rukhadze was born in 1990 in Georgia. George’s family has been making traditional Georgian wine since 1935. His grandfather and namesake - George Rukhadze is known as a famous winemaker, who has restored and saved several unique traditional Georgian wine varieties.

George Rukhadze produced his own wine for the first time in 2010 with his childhood friend and business partner – David Dudauri. In 2020, they have decided to start producing and delivering harmonious and delicious George Grey Wines to Georgian and international markets as well.

David Dudauri

David Dudauri was born in 1990 in Georgia. His family has been actively operating in F&B industry for a long time and has owned famous restaurant in Old Tbilisi called "King Vakhtang". In the “King Vakhtang” restaurant the residents of Tbilisi could taste delicious Georgian traditional dishes and wine.

George Rukhadze and David Dudauri have been friends since childhood and after implementing several successful joint projects, they have decided to launch unique Georgian wine brand on Georgian & international markets.
